Such nice boys, those Castro Brothers are– the Mexican ones, not the Cubans, though I really shouldn’t say that, I’ve never heard the Cuban ones sing. This lovely album contains such swell tunes as ¡Aja….Bibi! and Cucurrucucu, as well as covers of Music to Watch Girls By and Little Bit Me, Little Bit You. (Though I have to admit I almost tossed my taquitos when I saw they did a version of Michelle by the Beatles. what a horrible song.)

One scotch, one vodka (bottles that is) and plenty good beer, and I could take at least four hours with these guys in some cheap pub somewhere in Finland.
I found this LP in Guadalajara, México a few years back, love it. I especially like their version of “Cucurrucucu Paloma.” I could take at least four hours with these guys in some cheap motel somewhere in Sacramento.
All joking aside, I have a couple other albums by them and they are pretty damned talented. I could take at least four hours with these guys in some cheap cathouse in Tijuana.
